Ugh -- suffering with this cold that has been threatening
to hit all week. So I stayed in bed most of today. Other than that, I've had a
good week...
If you've read my FAQ section, then you'll know that I wrote that my interest
in army uniform had diminished somewhat since I was a teenager. Hmmm, well this
week I visited the army surplus store and it rekindled my interest somewhat!
I bought a British Army sweater to replace one I already have which shrunk a bit.
They have some real bargains -- for instance West German army tracksuits for £2.50
($4). Must go again this week :-)
The seeds that I planted last Thusday had all sprouted by Tuesday. Today the Nasturtiums
are about 3 inches high. That is quite amazing.
It must be because they are near the radiator in the living room, plus it is also
very bright in there.
They are all plants to go on the balcony: in tubs, boxes and baskets. However,
the weather right now is still very cold and I'll have to wait for it to improve
before putting the plants out.
I bought two Clematis plants too -- one pink and one purple -- to grow up the
trellis.
I've been playing with Napster -- a piece of software that lets you swap MP3s with other people on the 'net.
Among others, I found some tunes by the Monkees. I love them.
Hey -- well thanks for the invitation to your party guys,
but I don't fancy walking around THAT part of Manchester at 4am! Plus (sniff)
I have a cold.
