Thanks for the letters about the webcam being missing for the last week or so.
I know some webcammers lose interest after a few months but I have been online
since last December and be assured that I am as enthusiastic as ever!
So what's going on? Well, a few months ago, the new magazine that I'm working
for launched a pilot issue, which was a success. So they got the go-ahead. That's
when they asked me to get involved... The second issue had to be ready very quickly,
so I have done a month's work in ten days!
Then, to top it all, I got a mild flu bug last weekend.
A week ago, I found that I had run out of web space once again. This time for
this Diary section.
I managed to squeeze last week's pages in and should be OK with this one, but
it means I need to spend half a day fiddling about, moving and uploading stuff
and changing links and I simply haven't had the time.
Regular visitors will know that I was connecting using the free 0800 X-Stream
service. Well, ten days ago, that stopped working. So I also need to sign up with
one of the new flat-rate services. Again, I simply haven't had time to research
them and find out which is best.
However, the work will all be done by the end of Tuesday, so expect things to
get back to normal after that. And, in future, I should have a whole month in
which to do a month's work!
Later this week I'm going to begin some decorating and other work around the house.
That is going to be my relaxation after two weeks solid at the computer.
Did I say 'back to normal' back there? Actually, there are probably big changes
ahead for me, starting from the beginning of July. I don't mean concerning this
site. I mean in my love life! Stay tuned... :-)
