have a bit of a thing for bargain shops. The kind of place that many gay men wouldn't
be seen dead in. There's one in town where everything is £1. The stuff is
good quality and I can't really see the point of going into a slightly smarter
shop and paying four times the price. Besides which, I never see the same stuff
anywhere else.
They have some great offers: two writeable CDs for £1, 36 exposure 35mm
film for £1, five lightbulbs for £1. You get the idea... My star purchases
today were a neat foot-pump (left) for my mountain-bike, plus an extra cable lock.
You guessed it, they both cost £1.
