It turns out that the 'phone problems have NOT been solved after
all. Oh well, we'll get there eventually.
The UK had some scorching hot weather last weekend. Some of the hottest days I
can remember since 1992, when I was working in London. I had a cold over the weekend (maybe the same one as two weeks ago, hanging about) or perhaps it was an allergy, but still managed to enjoy the sun.
Last night I watched Get Real -- a British film made in 1998. It's a bittersweet
story about a 16 year-old coming to terms with being gay and how he gets involved
with the top athlete at his school. It was well made and enjoyable and I recommend
it.
I'm having a much-needed break after all the work of the last three weeks. I've
been doing a few things on here -- you can read the first part of my coming
out story -- and I'm about to begin doing some decorating at long last.
