An interesting documentary on Channel 4 about Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
Though their public image was totally respectable, they enjoyed an adventurous
sex life and had erotic paintings in their private quarters that were outrageous
for their time.
The story goes that Prince Albert had a 'piercing' and that's how it got its name.
Though that wasn't mentioned in the programme. Personally I'm not into exotic
piercings. Ears and eyebrows are OK.
Heh heh. I think I've watched too many 'Carry On' films...

As far as I can make out, they have never become big in the USA. Which seems strange
considering the popularity of Are You Being Served (which has similar humour)
over there.
