Imagine seeing this view first thing in the morning.
What could be better? Apart from maybe seeing Brad Pitt naked in bed right next
to me, his furry little blond butt... Well, the new heating is so good, he could
sleep completely uncovered :-))
OK, OK, you get the idea. Yeah, that would make this place completely perfect!
Then again, with Brad around, maybe I wouldn't care where I was...?
Hard to believe that just a few months ago I was sitting on the lawn in the sun!
Those colourful summer shots show how just how monochromatic the landscape is
at this time of year. But I do love it when there's snow on the ground. It lights
up the whole house indoors.
Mmmm, not enough for you to be able to see me in this next shot though!
This lane leading up to the farm is the original Roman road to Scotland. Running
along to the right of it there is a tall rocky crag.
One of my favourite cycle rides starts off along this lane and leads to some breathtaking
scenery (screen grabs below). I have a video from one time back in 1994 and I'm
thinking of putting some clips here on my site.

I'm pretty excited with the whole idea of editing video
on my PC. I've been teaching myself Adobe Premiere. You don't need a powerful
PC to work with video at a resolution such as 320x240 (I have a P200 with 190Mb
RAM) and the stuff you can do with Premiere is mind-blowing.
I've been playing with blue-screen effects. Nothing to do with the 'blue-screen effects' you sometimes get in Windows... I mean like on TV where the weather person is superimposed against a map.
Nice conditions for photography -- but its too cold and icy!
