We went to pick up my new studio flash equipment. I'm about to begin an extra
line of business -- photographing guys! And I thought it was about time I updated
my old flash system, which I've had since 1986.
If you've read my previous comments, then you'll know I'm not a photo equipment
nut. Quite the reverse -- most of my kit is ancient. I've always thought it's
better to know your camera inside out rather than have a different one every year.
And many of the 'improvements' on new cameras are superficial. The important things
are what you have in front of, and behind, the camera!
We had an early outdoor lunch in the small park behind Kendals department store.
