There was gorgeous Autumn scenery on the train journey back to Manchester... Everything
was sunny and golden.
Since I arrived back it feels as though I haven't stopped. So much to do and friends
to catch up with. But it is great to be back.
Tonight I went to see Manchester's Christmas lights being switched on. Unfortunately
I made the mistake of going with 'S', who can't stand still in one place for more
than 30 seconds. It was like being with a five-year-old who has drunk too much
fizzy orangeade. As a result, the video stuff that I shot was about the worst
I've done in twenty years. I did that 'thinking it's on when it's off' thing with
the camcorder. So I was lucky to get these few grabs from the tape.
Now it can be revealed... The blue t-shirts are promotional ones for Malibu. I
bought five of them (new) in the Oxfam shop. I liked the colour. But I am so not
into clothes, as you may have noticed.
There is nothing like starting the day with a cheque! It makes webmastering worthwhile.
