The webcam does have its uses. Friend Damien (sorry is it spelt 'Damien' or 'Damian'?
I remember yours is the spelling NOT used for the character in The Omen!) wanted
to know which audio adaptors he needs for his video capture set-up. Later we went
around some shops to buy the stuff.
Do you ever put off buying something... You know, never seem to get round to it...
Even though you know it'll make your life SO much more easy?
I use a video sender (transmitter and receiver) for the webcam and, for the last
two years, I've been struggling with the two-pin power units that came with the
equipment. Each of these units has to be plugged into a two-pin shaver adapter
and then into the 3-pin UK mains socket.
They are always falling out, or don't make a good connection. But have I done
anything about it? No! Not until today when, finally, I bought two new power supply
units. Total cost: £20 ($30) for a much easier life.
Why didn't I get around to it sooner? Probably for the same reason I have been
using a broken chopping board in the kitchen for the last year.
