Had a stroke of luck... I've managed to fix up a ten-year-old camcorder that hadn't worked since 1997. It turned out to be an internal fuse. Older camcorders often have lots of manual features -- so they're great for webcam use.

But have you ever tried opening one up? A nightmare. And even though it's all working I had 5 little screws left over ;-)



I'm working on some exciting new ideas for this site. So stay tuned. I don't usually get that excited about a new year, but this one seems really promising.
