I haven't seen the news on TV or read a newspaper for a day
(I'm *informed* aren't I!) but I heard that the ban on gay men and women serving
in the British armed forces has been lifted.
Great news, though the next big step is to educate the troops so they accept it.
I suppose at this point I could say that I wouldn't mind educating a few squaddies
personally...
I got some good feedback after talking about the film 'Maurice' recently. So I'm
going to make it a regular feature.
I'll choose my favourite movies and TV programmes. The nice thing about a web-site
is the fact that, where possible, I can link to a video or DVD of the reviewed
item.
I've now fixed up a US video supplier as well as a UK one. So just click on the
link that's right for you.
I like a good story, I like to laugh or to watch something that makes me think.
So, in coming weeks, there should be something to interest nearly everyone.
They won't always be mainstream, sometimes it'll be more obscure stuff that I've
come across. But always interesting.
I'm heading home later today. Won't arrive there until just before midnight.
