Well, the inevitable happened today... I was updating the
site on VirginNet and found that I had used up my 10Mb of webspace. This is even
though GarySeven is pretty lean and mean (the site not me), with no unused images
floating around on the server.
Space isn't going to be a problem with the mirror site on Bapuppy. However, my
aim at present is to keep the UK version going too, as American servers can sometimes
be slow for those of us in Europe.
Anyway, for the moment, I've done a 'quick fix'. Images for the Random gallery
on Virgin now come from Badpuppy. That has got me back about 2Mb of space. So
far, the Diary Gallery amounts to about 1Mb each month.
Longer term, I suppose I could set up another account with Virgin and get another
free 10Mb ;-) Though it isn't ideal having the site split up like that.

Quite alarmed at how bad my kitchen looks on camera. Worse than it actually is.
You may have noticed I didn't begin the decorating this week. Look out for me
in overalls soon ;-) |
