The weird and wonderful world of Webcams... Why do people do it?
Is it a comfort for the lonely web-cammer, knowing that hundreds of people are
out there watching?
Is it exhibitionism? Perhaps, in years gone by, the boys who now expose themselves
on cam would have been hanging around public parks in dirty raincoats 'flashing'
strangers instead?
Is it just another form of 'showbiz'. A desire to be the centre of attention?
Or is it the ultimate form of safer-sex for web-cammer and viewers?
Maybe it's all of these? I'd be interested to know what you think. You can leave
your comments about this or anything else on the message board (FOOTNOTE
2004: no longer exists). Meanwhile I'll have a long hard think about why I do
it ;-)
KITCHEN SINK DRAMA
My new-look kitchen came a step nearer at the end of last week, when I found a
new blind for the window. I've actually put it up already.
This
involved me spending twenty minutes with one foot on the window-sill, the other
on a step-ladder, and with a large tool in my hand (where've I heard this before?).
It doesn't half put a strain on your calf muscles...
But now the fittings are in place, the blind can be removed in seconds. So no
problems taking it down when I come to paint. I've even scraped one wall. They're
in terrible condition and will need wallpapering.
Sorry about the lack of updates in the diary section. I have a a load of pics
to add and should be doing that either later today or tomorrow. I now have enough
for a second Random gallery too.
