Remember I got mugged back in February? Well I got a call today from the Police to say they think they've
caught
the two guys who did it. They want me to go down and identify them on an ID parade
in July.
The Detective mentioned that there would be two-way glass so I can see them, but
they can't see me. Then he added that, when the glass was first installed, the
builders put it in the wrong way round! I wonder how long it was before they realised?
They pick me up on the day to make sure the identification isn't prejudiced by
me seeing one of the people taking part in the line-up on my way into the Police
Station.
So, I get to ride in a Police car. That should get the neighbours talking.
Hey... I wonder if they'll put the handcuffs on me if I ask nicely? :-)
