If you've been visiting my site for some time then you'll know I was mugged
back in February. Well, recently the Police asked me to attend an ID parade to
see if I could identify one of the guys who robbed me.
I was one of ten robbery victims who were gathered at the local Police Station.
The first thing that struck me was how similar the other nine were: all young
students and every one of them pretty attractive.
I'd been told that the muggers targetted either students or the elderly. So I'm
not sure which category I'm supposed to fit into!
So each of us attempted to pick out the mugger from behind a one-way glass wall.
I couldn't make a positive ID, perhaps because it was so long since the incident
(some of the others had happened just weeks earlier).
However, the great news is that five witnesses did make a positive identification.
The Police were very pleased with that and said it was unusual.
