I love the parade, which always happens on the Saturday afternoon. And this year's was pretty good. You can see all of the shots in the GayFest 2001 gallery.

Nice to see people of all ages and shapes taking part and not wall-to-wall gym bodies, as seems to be the case in other places. Or perhaps it's just that the magazines and websites choose to focus in on those?

Great to see lots of drag-queens too! Let's not forget that it was the Stonewall Riot that started the whole Gay Pride thing, more than thirty years ago ago, and the drag queens were at the centre of that. I think these three 'ladies' from GayFest have something of a 1960's look to them...?
