It's Sunday -- cleaning up day...
Decide to clean out the kitchen store cupboard...
My neighbour Mark arrives for a chat. I swear that boy could smell freshly-brewed
coffee from a mile away!
The block where I live is probably 50% gay and one of the nice things is the way
everyone mixes and makes friends regardless of age. So you may find someone who
is 19 popping in to see a 55-year-old.
I'm not 55! But I am old enough to be Mark's dad (as he constantly reminds me!)
:-) A scary thought for both of us, I'm sure.
The gay scene can be a dangerous place when you've just come out. So if I can
pass on my experience to save someone else from making a mistake...
We seem to get a big firework display over the Manchester skyline every month
or so and I always stop to watch.
I always talk with my mum at 7pm on Sunday evening. Tonight is a special call,
as it's her 72nd birthday.
