Friday sure comes around quickly. Time to do my radio
show once again...
Initially the idea was to play music entirely off vinyl tonight. But then I realised
that wasn't going to be practical with just one turntable. So I threw in some
MP3s too.
There's something very satisfying and self-contained about a seven-inch single...
It's fun to pop one on the turntable and then rummage in the box to choose the NEXT track while the record is playing.
I know -- I need a shave.
I'm not a good DJ. Mixing, editing and cueing is no problem. In fact I'd say I
was good at those things. But I can't do them and talk at the same time!
