Mum is having a hip replacement in August. She could have
had it immediately -- which shows that the National Health Service sometimes does
give great service. However, she's decided to wait until after my sister has her
baby in July.
Mum is very happy to be having the operation and will probably be in hospital
for 7-10 days. So I'll go up to visit her and maybe to look after my dad, who
is completely helpless when it comes to cooking anything :-)
Unlike his talented son. Though I'll probably be wearing more clothes when cooking
in their kitchen (see photo above) ;-)
