I decided to paint the kitchen floor. I suppose it's been plain concrete ever
since the house was built in the 1920's. That may sound romantic and old-fashioned,
but it never looked that great.
Part of my order from ScrewFix a couple of weeks back was this floor paint. I
really like the colour. It reminds me of those blue-grey cats that you see sometimes.
I've also decorated one of the bedrooms. I'm busy trying to finish everything
off as I plan to head back to Manchester this week or next at the latest.
You can't imagine how much I'm looking forward to getting back to the city this
time. I think I've over-done the isolation thing this time. I began to feel this
way just before Christmas.
Not that I'm feeling really bad or lonely. Just missing the bright lights, my
friends and, as usual, the range of food. Top priority will be a visit to the
'Curry Mile' with Miss Noodle.
Not to mention a delivery of delicious groceries from tesco.com. It is sad, but
I visited their site yesterday and began planning my order. My mouth was watering.
