I couldn't help but feel a bit frustrated that I hadn't been able to travel when
I wanted. And, looking at the forecast, it seemed as if the weather might take
another turn for the worst. I was beginning to wonder if I would ever get back
to Manchester!
Sure enough, when I got to Leeds, the sky turned grey and it began snowing. But
luckily the train seemed to stay ahead of it and I got back to Manchester without
any problem.
The Pennine Hills look tremendous in snowy weather. I love to see them.
By midnight there was quite a covering and I went out with my fab neighbour 'E'
for some snow fun. We didn't make the snowman, but we did do rude snow sculptures
on some unlucky person's gatepost!
