Hey! An unexpected update
thanks to my friend Miss Noodle -- shown above doing her best Anne Robinson impression.
She kindly let me use her PC and digital camera.
You may remember that last time I returned to Manchester I didn't feel anything
as the train approached... Whereas, previously, I'd always experienced a slight
tingle of excitement.
Well this time, the tingle was back. Even though I'd only been away for just over
a month, it felt nice to be back. It's definitely good to spend time away...
I got my appointment at the dentist over and last night went out to The Retro
Bar (near to the gay village) for a beer with Miss Noodle. Unlike most places,
it's quiet enough in there to have a conversation. If you visit, say 'hi' to Andrew
the barman.
That's the first time I've been to any kind of gay bar or club since last October!
I wonder how long I have to go before I can say I am 'non-scene'?
I've caught up with a few friends. I have a new next-door neighbour. The daffodils
are more advanced down here!
Seeing the kittens in the Noodle household has made me think about my current
lack of pets. I may get a new rat or even another cat.
I'm not sure which day I'll be returning back up north. I guess I could stay over
Easter, providing I don't miss my PC too much :-) I've picked up mail at
the EasyEverything Internet cafe.
