Hey everyone, glad you could join me on this lovely sunny and warm Spring evening.
The other day I did an experiment with my friend Miss Noodle. We were talking
on my cordless (not mobile) 'phone. Anyway, I climbed into the field to see how
far away from the house I could walk and still talk with her. The base receiver
is in my living room. I got way across the field and near to the farmhouse (the
'castle' in the pic) before the reception got crackly. Impressive. Who needs a
mobile? :-)
This year the lambs are in a field a way off.
I always sniff meat before I cook it, to check it's OK. Do you do that? I'm especially
sceptical about chicken breasts (well any breasts actually LOL).
My mum said something sweet the other day. Somehow we got onto the subject of breastfeeding. I had assumed I was bottle-fed, it being the 1960's, but not the case as it turns out. 'That's the reason you and me have such a close relationship,' said mum :-)
Two-and-a-half years ago mum and dad celebrated their 40 wedding anniversary and it wasn't until all those peope were getting up and saying what a great person she is, that I realised how much I have always taken her for granted.
