Yesterday I visited a friend (above left) who was a neighbour here until about
a year ago. I've seen him several times since, but this was my first visit to
his current house. Time flew by, he cooked omlettes all round. The plan was to
stay overnight but, as soon as I got into bed, I knew I wouldn't sleep. So I ended
up walking home at midnight.
I could have caught a cab, but just kept walking as I could see the tall buildings
down the hill in Manchester city centre. Six miles in all. I slept well after
that!
I don't like people using my PC :-)
