I mentioned before that my mum had chemotherapy treatment in the summer. She has
been fighting cancer for ten years. She is brave and believes a positive attitude
is all important...
Last Wednesday she was taken into hospital as she was feeling short of breath.
At first they thought the cancer might have spread to her lungs. However there
is no trace on either the x-ray or CT scan and pretty much no change since her
last scans.
However they still don't know why she has these latest problems and she has been
on oxygen. I talked to her on the 'phone yesterday and she sounded weak. It was
upsetting. It means mum and dad have had to cancel their plans for Christmas.
